Dynamic Load Sharing Behavior for the Pitch Drive in MW Wind Turbines

For a wind energy system, main speed-increasing gearboxes, pitch drives and yaw are composed of multistage planetary gear system. However, inevitable errors in the manufacturing assembling gears lead to uneven load distribution system; thus, its service life reliability decrease greatly, which would eventually affect normal operation whole power In this study, dynamic sharing model drive is established with lumped-parameter method. Given assembly central floating gear, equations for each component, stiffness matrix damping matrix, coefficient displacement sun obtained according meshing force load. Furthermore, external internal 2 MW turbine three-stage achieved. Then, other also obtained. Moreover, influence both stiffness, eccentric error tooth frequency all components on stages investigated. Lastly, theoretical compared experiment results under 50%, 100% 150% rated torque test rig; correctness verified by results.
